I am a Minneapolis native currently living in Austin, Texas.   I began taking pictures with my first camera at about the age of ten.   During high school and into college I developed my ability for landscape and nature photography.   In 1994 I took a course in photography at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.   Over the next few years, I developed my skill for long-exposure, night photography as well as other fine-art photography.   In 2002, I worked as a photojournalist for The Daily Texan at the University of Texas at Austin.
